Homeopathy
A place to discuss your concerns, your current care, and whether homeopathy has a role in your broader health plan.
We begin by listening. Your health history, medications, goals and questions guide a careful, individualized conversation.

Care Starts With Your Story
You may have questions that go beyond a single symptom. We make room to hear them, review your health history and understand what you hope to address.
Together, we can discuss whether a homeopathic product is appropriate alongside your existing care, or whether another approach would better serve your needs.
What Is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a complementary approach that selects products according to a person’s symptoms and overall picture. Products are sold in forms such as pellets, drops, tablets, creams and gels.
Its traditional principles include “like cures like” and the use of very small doses. These principles should not be taken as proven explanations of how the products work.
Research has not established homeopathy as an effective treatment for a specific health condition. We discuss it as a complementary choice, never a substitute for medical assessment or proven treatment.
A Conversation Shaped Around You
A consultation gives you time to raise questions and consider the options in context. The steps below describe a typical discussion, not a fixed treatment protocol.
01
Listen
Tell us what is concerning you and how it affects daily life.
02
Review
We consider your health history, diagnoses, medications, supplements and current care.
03
Discuss
We explain possible options and where homeopathy may—or may not—fit.
04
Follow up
We revisit your questions and response, and adjust the conversation as needed.
Experience With an Integrative Lens
Machelle Perkins, AP, Dipl. Ac., brings more than 25 years of clinical experience and training across acupuncture and complementary disciplines, including homeopathy and homotoxicology.
That experience supports a thoughtful discussion about whether this approach fits your situation and how it relates to care from your physician and other licensed professionals.
Keep Your Care Connected
Please share your diagnoses, medications, supplements and all products you use. Some products labeled homeopathic contain measurable active ingredients and may cause side effects or interactions.
Do not postpone medical assessment or replace prescribed treatment with homeopathy. Seek urgent medical care for sudden, severe or worsening symptoms. Ask your physician before use during pregnancy, while nursing or for a child.
Homeopathy FAQs
What happens during a homeopathy consultation?
We discuss your concerns, health history, medications and goals, then consider whether homeopathy belongs in your broader care plan.
Can I use homeopathy with my current medications?
Tell us about all prescription medicines, supplements and products you use. Some products may contain active ingredients or interact with other care, so coordinate decisions with your healthcare professionals.
Is homeopathy the same as herbal medicine?
No. They are different approaches, even though both may be discussed during an integrative care visit.
Does “natural” mean a product is risk-free?
No. A product label alone does not establish safety or effectiveness. Ask about ingredients, possible effects and interactions.
Will homeopathy replace my regular medical care?
No. Continue recommended medical assessment and treatment. Homeopathy, if discussed, is considered only as a complementary option.
